An Evening with Jeffery Deaver

Best-selling Mystery Author to Appear at Free Event at Bethesda Library on Thursday, April 16

Join us at the Bethesda Library on April 16th, as we host “An Evening with Jeffery Deaver.” An international best-selling author of more than 30 novels, three collections of short stories and a nonfiction law book, Deaver’s works have been sold in 150 countries and translated into 25 languages.

His first novel featuring Lincoln Rhyme, “The Bone Collector,” was made into a major motion picture starring Denzel Washington and Angelina Jolie. His latest novel, “The Skin Collector,” also features NYPD detective Lincoln Rhyme.

Deaver will discuss his forthcoming book, “Solitude Creek,” a Kathryn Dance thriller, due for release in May.

In addition to this event, Deaver will join a number of excellent mystery/thriller authors at the 6th annual Gaithersburg Book Festival, on Saturday, May 16.

COST:            This event is free, but seating is limited and on a first come, first served basis. It will be held in the main library.  Attendees are encouraged to arrive early.

SALES:          Friends of the Library Bookstore will be onsite selling copies of “The Skin Collector” and “The October List.”

About the Gaithersburg Book Festival

The Gaithersburg Book Festival is an annual all-day celebration of books, writers and literary excellence. Now in its sixth year, the Festival has become one of the premier literary events in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area. The 2015 Festival will be on Saturday, May 16, 2015, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the grounds of Gaithersburg City Hall, in Olde Towne Gaithersburg, Md. Activities include author appearances, discussions and book signings; writing workshops; a Children’s Village; onsite sales of new and used books; literary exhibitors and food, drink, ice cream and more.
