Torie Clarke is a highly respected communications leader in both the public and private sector. Her distinguished career includes working as U.S. Assistant Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs, as a senior public relations counselor to Comcast Corporation and most recently as head of Global Corporate Affairs (GCA) for SAP, responsible for building credibility for SAP’s vision and strategy with priority audiences.

Torie is currently the host of the successful podcast, “Chatter on Books,” which features leading authors in diverse and often provocative topics, and serves as a senior advisory committee member for the Institute of Politics at Harvard Kennedy School. She is also pursuing her Master’s in Social Work to further the development of equine therapy for military veterans with P.T.S.D.

A published author, she has been a featured guest on programs ranging from ABC’s “This Week” to “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.” Torie graduated from George Washington University.

At GBF this year, Torie Clarke and David Aldridge will be onstage interviwing author Theresa Runstedtler for an episode of Chatter on Books.
