Lead a Workshop

Professionals in the literary community with teaching experience are invited to submit proposals to lead writing workshops at the 2025 Festival.

We are pleased to be able to offer in-person workshops for adults, teens, and children as part of the Festival’s mission to foster an interest in reading, writing and literary conversation. In past years, offerings have ranged from poetry to personal essays; short stories to novels; comic book writing to songwriting; publishing tips to book marketing.

The Workshop Selection Committee bases final choices on several factors, including the teaching experience of the leader, topic appeal, and ensuring a variety of offerings.

Selected workshop leaders have the choice of receiving a $100 stipend OR a complimentary exhibitor booth at the festival.

Proposed workshops should be 45 to 55 minutes long, specific in scope, and target audience age range. Submission deadline is March 1, 2025.
