Civic duty, a job to do,
For me and for you,.
Lend a helping hand, don’t turn away,
Help someone out, each and every day.
Vote when it’s time, let your voice be heard,
Your vote can speak louder than a word.
In the polls, which stand tall,
It’s a simple thing, but there is so much to do.
Serve your town, help your street,
Do the small things that are so hard to beat.
Pick up trash, help a friend,
These little acts, they never end.
Respect the law, follow the rule,
A peaceful life, it’s the golden rule.
In every choice, think of the whole benefit,
Keep in mind a common goal and mention it.
Give your time, help those in need,
Kindness is more than just a deed.
It lifts the heart, it heals the soul,
To keep the Earth safe is our goal.
Pay attention, stay aware,
It’s not just about what’s fair.
Help your neighbor, share the load,
We all walk down the same road.
When times are tough, don’t walk away,
Stick around, be part of the day.
Stand by your word, stand by your side,
In unity, there’s so much pride.
So let’s all do what we must,
In each other’s hands, we place our trust.
Civic duty, simple and clear,
Together we rise, year by year.
