Announcing A New Blog Feature: Recommended Reads

So how do you decide what you’re reading next? If you’re like some of us, you may make decisions based on book reviews or book blogs or the Shelf Awareness e-newsletter. Or maybe, like many others, you base your selections on recommendations from friends, relatives, or colleagues. So what better way to pick your next new read than by getting a recommendation by an author you know and love?

That’s why, during the next few weeks, we’ll be launching a new feature. A selection of our 2011 Gaithersburg Book Festival featured authors will be sharing some of the favorite books from their personal 2011 reading lists. (Not all recommended reads were published in 2011.)

We’ll launch this new feature on Monday with recommendations from Caroline Leavitt, author of “Pictures of You” and many other books.
